Best Guess Live

Developed by Apploff Entertainment, Best Guess Live was a Netflix game, now removed from Netflix in Sep 30, 2026. Authoritative server state. Revival needs a server reimplementation. A working offline build or asset bundle is published.

Exmg live-event backend at backend.d-omuap3fxqs.exmgplay.com. One WebSocket carried all 52 commands and every episode, puzzle, poll and prize, and nothing was stored on the device. The final episode aired 2026-08-28, so a stock install already shows only the wrap-up screen, and Netflix keeps the backend up until 2026-09-30 for prize claims. After that a stock client reaches the home screen, reports that there is no current broadcast, and stops.

Netflix's nightly live game show, produced by Apploff Entertainment. Hunter March hosted 119 of the 190 episodes and Howie Mandel 58, with Corinne Foxx and a handful of guest hosts covering the rest. Two puzzles a night, five clues each, 20 seconds per clue and one guess, paying a real cash share. 190 episodes ran 2025-12-08 to 2026-08-28 and paid out close to 4 million dollars; the app stays open through 2026-09-30 for outstanding claims. Not SDK-patchable: the app was a thin broadcast client with no content of its own, so recovery meant reimplementing the Exmg protocol in process (a WebSocket shim answering all 52 commands and driving the app's own broadcast state machine) and feeding it archived episodes. Episode content, including clues, answers, per-clue crowd counts and payout tiers, comes from the jeremydbean/best-guess-archive community project, which recorded 190 episodes while the show was still running. One episode airs per day and rotates through all 190. The live video of the hosts was never distributed and no recording survives, so the panel above the clue list stays empty; prizes are shown but never paid.
